Tart, David

David Tart has been working in the animation business as an animator, and animation director for almost 20 years. David got his start in the animation business working on Danger Production’s “Bump in the Night”, a stop-motion animated Saturday morning television series produced for ABC television. He moved from there to Pixar Animation Studios to work on “Toy Story”, “A Bug’s Life”, “Toy Story II”, “Monsters, Inc.”, “For the Birds”, and “Finding Nemo”. After a brief hiatus to spend time with his family, he joined Blue Sky Studios to work on “Robots”. His next stop was at DNA Productions as animation director on “The Ant Bully”, followed by a position at Disneytoon Studios as overseas animation supervisor for “Tinkerbell”. David stayed on in India to work with Prana Studios on their co-production with Henson Studios “Unstable Fables”, a series of 3 feature-length DVD releases. Since then he’s continued to work as an animator and animation director, including a brief return to Prana Studios for their upcoming feature production “Dorothy of Oz”.
