Nick Abdalla

Nick Abdalla is a resident of Albuquerque and has pursued a career as a contemporary painter, print-maker and sculptor.  He was a Professor of Art at the University of New Mexico from 1968 to 1997 and is currently Professor Emeritus at UNM.  He did his printmaking at Tamarind Institute, the internationally recognized studio of printmaking at the University of New Mexico.  This was his major emphasis during the 1970s.

Some of Abdalla’s better known lithographs are “The Good Grey Poet,” “Super Patriot,” “The American Way,” and “Native American,” all of which were published in small editions.
