Two women sit across from each other in black chairs on a studio set with a round table and a screen displaying the word "¡COLORES!" in colorful letters.

Melinda Snodgrass studied opera at the Conservatory of Vienna in Austria, graduated from U.N.M. with a degree in history, and went on to Law School. She practiced law for three years, and discovered that while she loved the law she hated lawyers so she began writing science fiction novels.

Recently she worked as the Executive Producer on the upcoming Wild Cards TV series. She is also the co-editor and writes for the Wild Cards series with George R.R. Martin.

In the prose world she has finished the fifth book and final book in her Space Opera series The Imperials.

She has an urban fantasy series White Fang Law that follows the adventures of a young woman lawyer in a vampire law firm in Manhattan. Book One This Case is Gonna Kill Me is now available.

The four books in the Carolingian series which explore the war between science and rationality and superstition and religion — Lucifer’s War, Morningstar’s Heir, One Fatal Tree, and To Rule in Heaven will be released soon.

For fun she rides her dressage horses, plays video games and enjoys role playing games with her friends scattered all around the country.”
