"I was thrilled to be hired on as a student intern at New Mexico PBS during my junior year at UNM. I would get so excited when people asked me what my job title was because that meant I got to say “Technical Specialist.” I got to work in a real life studio, with real life equipment. Learning all the ins and outs of a television studio is what ultimately led me to my current job at ReelzChannel after graduating in 2008.
I have been with ReelzChannel since 2010, but specifically with the Affiliate Marketing Department for the past year. I started as the department coordinator, but was recently promoted to Associate Marketing Manager. Our main goal as a department is to promote the value in ReelzChannel as a network, and get on as many cable lineups as we can.
I am proud to say that I have a role in the advancement of this company, and couldn’t have gotten here without UNM, and my time as a New Mexico PBS student intern."
