Jorge Ortiz
"I am a student at the University of New Mexico in my fourth year, pursuing an undergraduate degree in the Interdisciplinary Film and Digital Media program. Upon graduation, I hope to further my career in the film or broadcast production industry. From a young age, I have been obsessed with the art of storytelling, and, growing up in a TV generation, visual storytelling has always had an appeal. My focus in school is to create a visual language to convey my ideas in a creative way with impact. Working at New Mexico PBS has offered me the opportunity to develop my skills in a professional environment, with state of the art equipment, in conjunction with my studies."
