UNM Hospital Announces Stroke Center


April 2, 2021 – Stroke patients in New Mexico now have faster and more effective treatment resources available to them. That’s because the University of New Mexico Hospital was recently certified as the state’s first comprehensive stroke center. Host Gene Grant talks with members of the team behind the new designation about what exactly it means and how it will benefit patients, not just in Albuquerque, but across New Mexico.
