UNM Athletics Director Eddie Nuñez Talks Tough Budget Decisions

University of New Mexico Athletics Director Eddie Nuñez sits down to talk about the unenviable task of trying to cut roughly 2 million dollars from his annual budget. In addition to the budget concerns, there are also Title IX issues that may impact any decision that is made on the future of UNM’s existing athletics programs. This week, the Board of Regents will vote on a proposal Mr. Nuñez has now sent to UNM President Garnett Stokes that is designed to make UNM Athletics more financially stable moving forward.
