The Line: Youth Crime in Albuquerque

July 17, 2015 – The shooting death of Stephen Gerecke during a robbery by a group of teens has many people in Albuquerque talking about how the community should respond when minors commit serious crimes.

APD officials told local media this week that they are looking into a new trend of “mobbing,” which they identify as groups of teens robbing homes and stealing cars.
