The Line: What Repealing The Affordable Care Act Might Mean For New Mexico


January 20, 2017 – Thousands of New Mexicans signed up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act. The ACA allowed the state to expand eligibility for Medicaid. According to the New Mexico Human Services Department, about 36% of New Mexicans are currently covered by Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). There’s a lot at stake and this week’s Line opinion panelists weigh in on what we know now.
