The Line: Unvaccinated School Children in NM

June 28, 2019 – New Mexico has joined 27 other states in reporting measles cases this year – the highest rate of infection since 1992. And the numbers may grow as more parents choose not to vaccinate their children. Gene Grant and the Line opinion panelists examine the rising number of unvaccinated school children in our state, due in part to a loophole in New Mexico law.

Line Panelists:
Michael Barrio, director of advocacy, Prosperity Works
Dede Feldman, former NM State Senator
Dan Foley, former state representative
Laura Sanchez-Rivét, Affirm, Inc.
