The Line: Trinity Downwinders

July 17, 2015 – The first atomic bomb was tested in New Mexico 70 years ago and a group of people, known as the Trinity Downwinders, continue to ask the federal government to study how the test affected the health of people who were in the area at that time.

Our line opinion panelists shared their thoughts this week on the anniversary of the test and a series of stories that ran recently in the Santa Fe New Mexican.
