The Line: Top Stories of 2018 (Number 6)

December 21, 2018- Host Gene Grant and the Line opinion panel of local journalists wrap up the first half of our countdown of the top 10 stories of 2018 with story #6. This is actually a conglomeration of stories all focused on border issues here in New Mexico. And there were plenty of stories to include, from National Guard troops sent to the border, to the start of construction on a border “wall” here in the state, and the issue of border crossing detentions. There was also the impact of uncertainty around national policies like DACA.
