The Line: The Cost Of Cutting Behavioral Health Services

February 5, 2016 – The Santa Fe New Mexican reported this week that the legislature may consider a 19 percent cut in the Human Services Department’s Behavioral Health Services Division. Advocates and providers have raised concerns about cuts to behavioral health and substance abuse programs.
