The Line: Solitary Confinement in New Mexico Prisons

March 1, 2019 –A recent study finds the rate of prisoners held in solitary confinement in New Mexico is more than double the 4 percent that state officials claim. Gene Grant and the Line opinion panelists discuss the use of solitary confinement, a practice the United Nations has declared is a form of torture and the ACLU says results in psychological distress.
