The Line: Should New Mexico Change Electoral College Process?

March 8, 2019 – A bill to assign New Mexico’s electors to the winner of the national popular vote made it to Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham’s desk this legislative session.  Only five times in our country’s history has the popular vote winner lost the Electoral College. Is a change warranted?
