The Line: Report Shows UNM Athletics Favors Males Over Females

June 8, 2018 – A new report shows UNM’s athletic department is not Title IX compliant, meaning that it falls short of federal guidelines for gender equality.  How will UNM’s apparent non-compliance affect the future of several sports programs that are already on the hook due to budget deficits?  Gene Grant and the Line speculate on what steps the university might take to level the playing field in order not to lose federal money.
