The Line: Remembering Judge Charles Daniels

September 6, 2019 – Former New Mexico Supreme Court Justice Charles W. Daniels passed away recently. A “titan of the law,” according to current Chief Justice Judith Nakamura, he may be remembered as much for his bass guitar playing and race car driving as for his impact on the legal profession in this state. Daniels notably worked on the bail reform amendment. Gene Grant and The Line opinion panel reflect on his legacy.

Line Panelists:
Julie Ann Grimm, editor, Santa Fe Reporter
Dede Feldman, former state senator
