The Line: PRC Drops Suit Against Santa Fe Newspaper

August 14, 2015 – At the beginning of this week, the Santa Fe New Mexican was facing a lawsuit from the state Public Regulation Commission over documents that were accidentally released to reporter Steve Terrell.

The PRC later voted to drop the lawsuit and the paper published documents related coal contracts for the San Juan Generating Station in northwestern New Mexico. Those documents were supposed to be kept confidential by the PRC.
