The Line: Older Population Caused New Mexico’s “Blue Wave” At Midterm Elections

December 14, 2018 – A major talking point coming out of the midterm election was about the “blue wave” of Democratic victories.  But an article in the Santa Fe New Mexican by Andrew Oxford showed how the “blue wave” in the last midterm election owed a lot to New Mexico’s “graying,” or older, population.
