November 9, 2018 – New Mexico made election history by sending a Native American woman to congress for the first time when Deb Haaland won the election in Congressional District 1.  In Congressional District 2, Xochitl Torres Small made a surprise come-from-behind win. Michelle Lujan Grisham pulled out a big win over Steve Pearce by nearly 14 points.
