The Line: May 8, 2015

This week, the line opinion panelists react to a new report from State Auditor Tim Keller on the contract between the city of Albuquerque and TASER International. The report concluded that former APD Chief Ray Schultz helped rig the no-bid contract for body cameras for APD officers. Schultz went on to become a contractor for TASTER. The city denies the allegation that the procurement process was rigged.

The panelists also discussed a proposal to bring an interim nuclear waste facility to New Mexico and the release of teacher evaluation data this week by the Public Education Department.
