The Line: Legislative Proposal For New Mexico’s Seniors

October 11, 2019 – This year, Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham declared a moonshot for education in New Mexico. But, in 2020, local think tank Think New Mexico wants to focus on the other end of the spectrum: our aging population. The group is proposing a slew of legislative actions that would help New Mexico retirees. Host Gene Grant and The Line opinion panelists look at the proposal, and weigh its impacts on a state that is ranked third in the nation for senior citizens living in poverty.

Line Panelists:

Inez Russell Gomez, editorial page editor, The Santa Fe New Mexican
