The Line: Hotly Contested Race To Lead The State Republican Party

December 7, 2018 – New Mexico’s Republican Party lost all of the statewide offices in the midterm elections last month, as well as eight seats in the state’s House of Representatives.  Now the battle is on to elect a new state party chairman, and the contest is between former New Mexico Congressman Steve Pearce and Albuquerque businessman John Rockwell.  Gene Grant and the Line opinion panelists examine the two choices and debate what tactics may be best for the state’s GOP going forward.
