The Line: Hearing Begins for Officers Involved in Boyd Shooting

August 7, 2015 – A preliminary hearing began this week for two officers involved in the fatal shooting of James Boyd last year in the foothills of Albuquerque. The city of Albuquerque recently reached a settlement with Boyd’s family in a civil case. His family will reportedly be paid 5 million dollars.
