The Line: Governor Martinez’s Political Future

January 8, 2016 – Governor Susana Martinez is currently in her second term in office but journalists and political pundits have speculated for years that she may someday run for higher office. An incident at the Eldorado Hotel in Santa Fe around the holidays left a negative impression on many people, both locally and nationally.  Could news coverage of Governor Martinez’s behavior with hotel staff and police officers hurt her political image?
