The Line: Gary Johnson Secures Libertarian Nomination

June 3, 2016 – Former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson secured the libertarian nomination last weekend and will be the representing the Libertarian party in the general election.

The nominee for Vice President is former Massachusetts Governor Bill Weld, who served as governor of Massachusetts from 1991 till 1997.Johnson served as New Mexico governor from 1995 until 2003.

A poll released Wednesday by Quinnipiac University showed Johnson currently polling at 5 percent.
