COVID-19 Updates: Lifted Restrictions and Special Session Predictions

May 29, 2020 – Gene Grant and The Line opinion panel discuss the state’s reaction to the governor’s public health order updates, including how individual counties are responding to statewide mandates. The governor gave the go-ahead this week to open to limited outdoor dining, followed by an announcement (after the segment recorded) that indoor dining would be allowed in limited fashion, along with gyms and salons. The Line looks at how businesses and customers are navigating these and other soft openings. They also consider the projected June 18 special legislative session.
