The Line: Bottom Ranking For New Mexico Nursing Homes

May 25, 2018 – An in-depth article by Albuquerque Journal reporter Marie C. Baca sparked a conversation among Gene Grant and the Line opinion panelists about the serious deficiencies reported for nearly half of all nursing homes in New Mexico. Estimates are that by the year 2030 New Mexico will have the fourth largest population in the country of people 65 years and older. As our population ages, what can be done to improve our ranking in nursing care, both now and in the future?
