The Line: Balancing Transparency And Privacy In Local Government


January 20, 2017 – A state lawmaker pre-filed legislation that would exempt some job candidates from the Inspection of Public Records Act (IPRA). Sen. Mary Kay Papen, (D-Las Cruces) told NM Political Report her goal is to protect the privacy of job applicants.
