The Line: APD ‘Use of Force” Policy

May 6, 2016 – The Albuquerque Policy Department is currently under going changes required in a consent decree signed in 2014 between the city and the U.S. Department of Justice. APD officials recently unveiled a new use of force policy, but some members of APD’s citizen oversight board have raised questions about the policy and why they were left out of the process of drafting the changes.
