The Line: Alarming Number of Shootings in Bernalillo County

May 2, 2019 – The Albuquerque City Council recently hosted the first of three public hearings on the fiscal year 2020 budget, and citizens voiced their opinions on how that money should be spent.  On Monday (April 29) of the following week, the Albuquerque Journal reported that 114 people had been shot in Bernalillo County since the year started 112 days before.
