The Line: 2019 Legislative Session Preview

January 11, 2019 – This year’s 60-day legislative session begins next week, starting midday on Tuesday, January 15 with Governor Lujan Grisham’s first State of the State address.  There have been many bills filed ahead of the session, including those that deal with raising the minimum wage, tax code reform, and a bid to reinstate the so-called “food tax.” Gene Grant and the Line opinion panelists debate the merits of certain bills and look at predictions and expectations for the 60-day session at the Roundhouse.
