The Line: APD Officers Will Not Face Another Trial For Shooting Of James Boyd

NMiF: The Line Panel

March 3, 2017 - Bernalillo County District Attorney Raúl Torrez announced recently that he will not seek a retrial for two former APD officers who shot and killed James Boyd in 2014. Keith Sandy and Dominique Perez were charged with murder by former DA Kari Brandenburg. Their trial ended in a hung jury. Host Gene Grant and this week's line opinion panelists discuss the decision to not seek a retrial and the broader significance of the case.
