The Line: Top Election Issues

The Line Polls and Election

September 28, 2018 – A new public opinion poll in the Albuquerque Journal lays out what voters identified as the most important issues headed up to the midterm elections. At the top of the list is crime, which 78% of respondents said was a “very serious” issue. And that result comes on the heels of the new FBI Crime in the U.S. Report, which put New Mexico again near the top of the list for per capita property and violent crimes. Host Gene Grant and the Line opinion panelists discuss the issues and how they are showing up on the campaign trail this year.
