Santa Fe’s controversial Entrada tradition, The Line

This week on New Mexico in Focus, correspondent Matt Grubs sits down with former New Mexico state historian Estevan Rael-Gálvez to talk about changes this year for Santa Fe’s controversial Entrada tradition.

And Sarah Gustavus sits in for Gene Grant on the Line. The panelists debate a judge’s decision to grant bail to adult defendants found in a northern New Mexico compound with eleven malnourished children, the body of a young child, and a number of guns. They also discuss what’s new in politics this week, including former governor Gary Johnson entering the New Mexico senate race, and look at neighborhood opposition to proposed “tiny home” villages.
