New Report Explores Upcoming State Redistricting Process

November 22, 2019 – The U.S. Census count is underway here in New Mexico and the results of that count will impact the redrawing of political boundaries for the next decade. A new report published on New Mexico in Depth takes a look at the sordid history of redistricting processes in our state, including concerns about secrecy and political bickering. NMiF contributor and UNM Communication and Journalism Department instructor Gwyneth Doland authored the report, and shares some of the highlights.
