New Mexico’s Place on the National Stage


November 6, 2020 – Gene Grant and The Line opinion panel take a close look at the state’s place on the national stage. New Mexico went blue in the election for president, but many of its counties were red, making the state more “violet,” according to political science professor Lonna Atkeson. The Line also looks at New Mexico’s rural/urban divide, and the political strategies and leadership of the state’s two major parties.
