Mentor 2.0 – Freshman Year Through Graduation

According to the New Mexico Public Education Department, the current high school graduation rate in our state is under 70 percent. What can be done to bring up graduation rates in local schools?

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central New Mexico is matching high school students in some Albuquerque schools with mentors who can offer support and guidance for students from the time they enter high school through graduation. The program is different than the traditional BBBS mentoring model and it aims to help make sure students make it through high school and earn their diploma.
