Governor Tightens, Extends Restrictions | The Line

April 10, 2020 – Gene Grant and The Line opinion panel discuss Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s new actions to deal with COVID-19, including tighter restrictions on businesses, extending those restrictions through April, and ordering the early release of some low-risk prison inmates. The governor said in an April 9 news conference that the state has improved its social distancing practices, likely saving lives while at the same time pushing back a prospective peak strain on the medical system closer to the end of May.
