FBI Arrests Cowboys for Trump Leader

January 8, 2021Gene Grant and The Line opinion panel look at national conservative politics through a New Mexico lens, particularly in light of the FBI’s arrest of Cowboys for Trump leader Couy Griffin for violent threats. Griffin is also an Otero County Commissioner, and there are now calls from both sides of the aisle for him to resign. But notable conservatives like 2nd Congressional District Rep. Yvette Herrell and Republican Party Chairman Steve Pearce have offered mild criticism of Griffin’s antics and been slow to respond to his escalating threats and violent language.
