Episode 732 | One on One Kathleen Holscher – Web Extra

NMiF Producer Megan Kamerick continues her conversation with Kathleen Holscher, chair of Roman Catholic Studies at the University of New Mexico. They talk about her research on the Zellers v. Huff case, which dealt with Franciscan nuns teaching in public schools in New Mexico, and how the attitude of academia has changed in relation to the importance of religion and why it’s worthy of study. Holscher will give a talk on Sunday, Feb. 9, on Pope Francis at 3 p.m. in Albuquerque.
