May 15, 2020 – This week, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced the decision to lift some stay-at-home restrictions in all counties except for Cibola, San Juan, and McKinley. Starting Saturday, May 16, the new public health order includes allowing most retailers to open at 25% of maximum capacity, with big-box stores remaining at the 20% level. Houses of worship are allowed to operate at 10% capacity. Gene Grant and The Line opinion panel discuss these and other COVID-19 updates, including the new mandate to require everyone to wear face masks in public settings.
