October 21, 2016 – NMiF correspondent Gwyneth Doland sits down this week with U.S. Representative Michelle Lujan Grisham. The Democrat is running for re-election in the 1st Congressional District in New Mexico, which includes Albuquerque and communities in Bernalillo, Sandoval, Santa Fe, Torrence, and Valencia counties.

NMPBS invited her challenger, Richard Priem (R), to appear in a candidate conversation or one-on-one interview multiple times by mail, phone and email. We never received a response from Priem.
