Beyond the Park: Industrialization of the Greater Chaco Landscape
12.02.22 – A portion of the Greater Chaco Landscape is protected within Chaco Culture National Historical Park, and the federal government has talked about protecting a ten-mile buffer around the park from more oil and gas development. But as Mike Eisenfeld with the San Juan Citizens Alliance shows Our Land senior producer Laura Paskus, areas outside the park and the buffer zone are becoming increasingly industrialized.
