APD Leadership


March 12, 2021 – Albuquerque’s Mayor Tim Keller announced this week that he has appointed interim Chief Harold Medina to a permanent post atop the city’s Police Department. But in a departure from earlier plans, Keller decided to split the duties of the top position, naming Sylvester Stanley as interim superintendent of police reform. The new system has been met with mixed reaction.
