10.3.2025 – New Mexico Republican lawmakers disagreed with Democrats’ premise for October’s special session, that backstopping funding cuts from President Trump’s big bill was a state emergency. Senate Minority Floor Leader Bill Sharer (R-Farmington) sat down with NMiF Host Nash Jones to talk about what GOP lawmakers do see as urgent needs, and why he addressed political violence with his Democratic counterpart as the session began.
