Richard Stolley and How He Bought the Zapruder Film

In tonight’s show, Gwyneth Doland has a fascinating interview with longtime journalist Richard Stolley. Now semi-retired in Santa Fe, Stolley worked for Life Magazine during the publication’s zenith. He covered the integration of schools in the South, the last lynching in Alabama and myriad other events that shaped the twentieth century.

Stolley was gracious enough to stay after the interview and talk about how he was able to convince Abraham Zapruder to sell his film of the John F. Kennedy assassination to Life.
