2023 Legislative Session Recap: What Passed, What Didn’t and Understanding Why

This week on New Mexico in Focus, Gene Grant and the Line Opinion Panel recap the 2023 legislative session, breaking down what passed and what didn’t. The Line Panel breaks down the crime bills that gained approval, and those that fell short despite calls for improved public safety. The panel also discusses the newly passed House Bill 7 which codifies abortion rights in New Mexico. The Line Panelists also take a deep look inside the record-setting $9.6B budget.
