The Line: Student Test Scores And Teacher Evaluations

October 2, 2015 – New Mexico Education Secretary Hanna Skandera recently told local media that the Public Education Department expects a drop in student test scores when student scores from the PARCC test are released later this month. Also this week, a hearing on teacher evaluations continued in Santa Fe.The American Federation of Teachers New Mexico and the Albuquerque Teachers Federation filed a lawsuit earlier this year over the use of student scores in teacher evaluations.
