The Line: Lawmakers Prepare To Sue The Governor

April 21, 2017 – A group of state lawmakers voted last week to direct legislative staff to prepare to sue Governor Susana Martinez over some vetoes during and after this year’s 60-day session. The governor vetoed all funding for higher education and the legislative branch and said lawmakers would have to come back to Santa Fe for a special session to re-negotiate the budget.
